Dalby is a modern country town located within the Darling Downs. History has shown Dalby to be purely a farming community, always surrounded by fields of wheat, cotton, sorgum and sunflowers. But with the mining and resource boom, Dalby has seen a change more recently. Quickly it has become an energy capital in the west with new industry and plenty of workers in the area, the Real Estate Market has thrived and with predictions of more to come, it will more than likely continue. Dalby is a great place to live. It's easy to get around, it has all the facilities and it is still close enough to the coast for a weekend away.
